In preparations for Hurricane Irma it is important to BE AWARE AND PREPARE for these hurricane weather conditions. Winter Park Housing Authority would like to share with you some important emergency information, along with tips provided by Orange County.

A great source for actions to take when you receive a hurricane watch or warning alert from the National Weather Service for your local area. It also provides tips on what to do before, during, and after a hurricane-  Visit 

Orange County Government is encouraging residents to prepare for Hurricane Irma and continues to monitor and assess updates from the National Hurricane Center. Orange County currently has 45,000 pre-filled sandbags and expects to distribute more than 70,000 to residents.  For more information please visit
