Tarena Grant joined the Winter Park Housing Authority in January of 2020 and quickly transitioned into her role as the Resource Coordinator. Driven by a personal passion to intentionally impact the lives of others, makes her role as our ROSS Service Coordinator a great fit and essential to our communities.
Prior to her tenure with the Housing Authority, she was an educator in the private school sector for nearly 7 years and a former Prevention Specialist with The Center for Drug Free Living, Inc. for 5 years. Her commitment and dedication within these roles profoundly influenced her experiences leading to a life of leadership, service, and community engagement.
Ms. Grant’s role as the ROSS Service Coordinator is to build relationships with residents to help eliminate any barriers that may prevent them from achieving personal, financial, educational, and/or career goals.
Ms. Grant holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and Organizational Leadership from Valencia College, where she also received a Paralegal Degree along with several other Business Certificates focused on Entrepreneurship, Management, Operations, Operation Support and Service, and Business Specialist.
